At ‘Love, Evangeline’, we specialise in beautiful second-hand and pre-loved wedding dresses. Each piece is carefully inspected, cleaned, and thoughtfully packaged so it reaches you in the best possible condition.
UK Delivery
- We ship via Royal Mail Tracked or an equivalent tracked courier.
- Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days after purchase.
- Flat-rate delivery: £9.95 per order.
- Delivery usually takes 2–4 working days once dispatched.
Express Delivery
- Optional upgrade at checkout for faster delivery.
- Express orders are prioritised and usually arrive within 1–2 working days.
International Delivery

Returns & Refunds
Because our wedding dresses are second-hand and often one-of-a-kind pieces, all sales are final. Please read the details below carefully before purchasing.
Final Sale Policy

- Every dress is inspected for quality, professionally cleaned, and any imperfections highlighted in the description. Photos are available upon request.
Damaged or Misdescribed Items
Your satisfaction is very important to us. If your dress arrives damaged in transit or significantly different from its description, please contact us at contact@loveevangeline.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a tracked return and issue a full refund once the dress has been received and inspected.
Sizing & Measurements
All dresses are measured flat-lay (laid flat) in inches (“). We provide bust, waist, hip, and length measurements. Please compare these measurements to a similar dress you own to ensure the best fit. If you have any sizing questions, email us before purchasing - we’re happy to help.

Do you accept returns or refunds?
Because our dresses are second-hand and one-of-a-kind, all sales are final. However, if your dress arrives damaged or significantly different from its description, please contact us within 48 hours for a full refund.
What if the dress doesn’t fit me?
Since every dress is unique, we provide detailed flat-lay measurements for bust, waist, hips, and length in inches. Compare these to a similar dress you own. We're happy to offer sizing advice before you purchase.
Are the dresses cleaned before shipping?
Yes! Every dress is professionally cleaned, steamed, and quality-checked before shipping so it arrives in the best possible condition.
Are the dresses brand new?
No — all our dresses are second-hand or pre-loved. Any signs of previous wear or tiny imperfections are listed in the product description and shown in photos.
How long does delivery take?
UK Standard Delivery: 2–4 working days. Express Delivery: 1–2 working days. International delivery is available on request.
Do you offer international shipping?

What happens if my dress arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours with photos, and we’ll arrange a free tracked return and full refund.
Can I try the dresses on before buying?
Although we are not currently offering a full appointment service, if you would like to try on a gown before purchasing you can visit me in my home studio in West Sussex.
Are imperfections normal?
Yes — since these are pre-loved dresses, minor imperfections are normal and part of their unique character. All flaws are highlighted in descriptions photos are available upon request.
How do you package the dresses?
Each dress is wrapped in acid-free tissue, and wrapped in a protective garment bag (if available) and sent via tracked and insured delivery.
